After 10 days, the study tour of the PTI Entrepreneurs to San Francisco - Mexico - Cuba ended successfully with achievement of international important perspectives and experience at well-known attractions.
 

 

During 10 days in the Americas, the delegation had a lot of interesting experiences. The first is the short course  “Marketing-American brand” under the guidance of the professors at the San Jose State University. Participants have the opportunity to access the latest knowledge in the modern Marketing. The delegation and professors discussed the  ways to support the importation and trading of Vietnamese products in the United States of America. PTI Education Training Group expects that this will become the first step for US market entry plan in the future of entrepreneurs.

Marketing Professor at San Jose State University handed certificates to each graduate. The important knowledge which the entrepreneurs gained in the course will benefit them a lot in corporate management.


The delegation then had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of the tech giants in Silicon Valley  such as Facebook, Google and Apple of well-known CEOs, great models in corporate management. Not only does the visit help entrepreneurs broaden their gaze, but motivate them to drive the enterprises to success as what those CEOs did.

On the day after that, the delegation had a tour at Napa Valley Wineries. They had a full day to enjoy all the passionate beauty of the valley as well as the famous Robert Mondavi winery. Entrepreneurs also got the chance to see the winemaking process and enjoy the world’s best wine . Besides,  the delegation also visited the vineyards and enjoy the green beauty of the Napa Valley.

As a part of the  journey, the delegation also enjoy the cuisine in  Napa culinary paradise, wandering through the poetic road, watching the ancient buildings built in the 19th century in Sonoma.

On the fourth day, the delegation was in San Francisco. They had a meeting with the representative of the City Hall and discussion on the hot issues of society, the economic development of San Francisco in particular and of the World in general. After that, the delegation continued to visit San Francisco, stopped by Pier Pier 39 - where is always crowded with souvenir stalls, art performances of street artists. It must be a mistake if the delegation did not visit the Golden Gate Bridge - a symbol of San Francisco. The trainees walked along the streets of San Francisco, enjoy  natural scenery of Lombard Street and Chinatown.

An appointment with representatives of  City Hall of San Francisco in which disadvantages and advantages of importation to US were discussed.


On the fifth day, the delegation arrived in Mexico to continue the journey. Trainees paid a visit to the famous landmarks of the most important financial center of North America - Mexico. The first destination is the Palace of Arts located in downtown Mexico City. The front of  palace was built of white marble, creating the feeling like the romantic way of Spain or Italy. The delegation also admired world's excellent artworks inside the palace.

The next stop is Zocalo Square,  the main square of the city, the second largest in the world after the Red Square in Russia. After visiting the city center, taking a stroll on the busiest streets, the delegation visited the small towns of San Angel and Coyoacan, the ancient colonial villages that still retains the ancient beauty and architecture. The scenery here brings the feeling of  relaxation and peace.

Perhaps, the unique thing in the journey to Mexico  is the visit to the conservation of three cultures. This is one of the most important areas of Mexico City, which reflects the three major stages of Mexican history: pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary.

The team also had meaningful time when merging into the line of people who conquer the Pyramid of the Sun and the Moon. This is a place to worship the great gods of ancient Mexico. The delegation had the opportunity to learn more about the history of Mexico but also unique features in the ancient architecture.

The last stop of the delegation is the beautiful city of La Habana - the capital of Cuba where the delegation had a very special meeting with the Embassy of Vietnam. Participants and representatives of the Embassy had a talk about the difficulties of Vietnamese enterprises when approaching the Cuban market as well as  the economic situation around the world. In particular, what was discussed throughout the meeting was the embargo, trade diplomacy between Cuba and the United States, accompanied by the effects of the ordinance on the economy in general as well as Vietnam in particular.

After this,  the delegation had the opportunity to visit the famous spots of Cuba such as Captain Dulche’s Museum, San Francisco Square. Trainees are admiring the ancient colonial buildings of the year dating from the 16th century.

The integration visited  the statue of Sir Carlos Manuel and  El Morro castle guarding the estuary here. The delegation was also fortunate to witness a tradition  that began in the eighteenth century- the Firing of the 9 o’clock Cannon which signal when the city gates would be closed

The delegation also did not miss the opportunity to visit the Cigar Partagas to see the process of creating expensive cigars and buy themselves finest Cuban cigars as gifts for family and friends. Cuban cuisine is rich and varied, with dishes created from the sumptuous flavors of the Caribbean Sea and spices from the Spanish. Cuba is also  famous for a variety of cocktails especially the ones are made from rum.

El Floridita restaurant and bar is where the author of The Old man and the Sea often arrived during 10 years living here. He is also the one who invented the Daiquiri- the signature drink of El Floridita which left a special mark in the mind of delegation.

PTI Education Training Group  believes that trainees did have a memorable experience, useful lessons, and then extracting the essence of the values, contributing to the development of their business. We would like to express deep gratitude to  all the members who have had a great connection spirit, eager to learn and endeavor to complete the journey.

Over the years, PTI Education Training Group has  focused not only on developing training courses in Vietnam, but  also experience programs in other countries. In 2018, PTI Education Training Group and the PTI Entrepreneur Community successfully organized two programs in Japan and America. Continuing the series of programs, in 2019, PTI  will continue to organize overseas study programs with the following projected schedule:

- March 2019: Study tour  in Japan.
- May 2019: Study tour  in Dubai.
- August 2019: Study tour  in the UK.
- November 2019: Study tour  in Tibet.

Through previous training programs, we are confident that PTI Education Training Group will certainly develop useful programs which  bring interesting experiences to the participants.
