People Management

Business leaders are those who have to have big business ideals, they are the ones who must use 10 employees at a cost of 1 million USD per one instead of 1,000 workers at a cost of USD 1000 a year and finally they have to save time. That  means they need to know how to invest, manage and retain the talents. How to have excellent staff having enthusiasm, dedication and long-term commitment to business becomes one of the top issues of concern for business owners in Vietnam at present.
Through an in-depth exploration of the challenges and complexities of the labor market, the "People Management" course lectured with interesting teaching methods such as Open Discussion, Case Studies,  short lectures and role playing. Thinking about people management:

  • How to make others want to do what they have to do;
  • The specific challenges you have to face when motivating others in your organization (your company or your department) nowadays

Manager:

  • Skills, capability required for a manager;
  • Morality of manager  and value system of organization (company/department) he manages.

Manager:

  • Knowledge, capability and attitude of each individual and their value system;
  • Feelings, wishes of each individual at work.

Part 2

Methods and tools to manage people effectively

Employee assessment:

  • Rate capacity;
  • Evaluate the achievement;
  • Evaluate the attitude.

Motivating employee:

  • Motivation at work;
  • Effective leadership and guidance.

Arranging and developing the team:

  • Giving/arranging the assignment;
  • Coaching and developing the staff

Communicating with employee:

  • Listening effectively;
  • GIving feedback.

Manage disputes and conflicts between employees.
