Enhancing management capacity for middle Managers

Becoming a manager is the ultimate goal and a significant landmark in our career. But highly qualified people could hardly become good managers without improving their management skills. Management is a challenging task if proper methods are not employed.

An unexperienced manager can make following mistakes: mistaking enterprise owner’s vision and goals with his own vision and goals; lack of focus on management; more focus on human resource management than procedures; mistaken perception of strategies that a manager needs to develop, etc. So how to correct these mistakes and to become a professional manager?

In order for the managers to properly identify their roles and position, improve their management capability and strategy implementing skills, PTI Business School compiled the MMM Training Program – Enhancing Management Capacity for Middle Managers. The Program was designed by PTI’s leading experts based on the research of  operation of many large enteprises and corporations in Vietnam and the world.

The program is intended to equip learners with necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes for development of managing and directing capacity in a professional working environment. At the end of the training course, the trainees are expected to be able to:

  • Accept, adapt and take the initiative in efficiently performing the daily works in the capacity of a manager and a leader;
  • Efficiently perform the work planning and authorisation;
  • Select appropriate managing style;
  • Use communication skills for encouraging and stimulating employees to work efficiently
  • Perform on-the-job training and coaching and staff performance appraisal;
  • Identify approaches and solutions to incidents, disputes and difficulties;
  • Develop the workforce and guide them in accomplishing the targets;
  • Make plan for managing capacity enhancement for themselves to meet the requirements of the job.
